Dr. Pejman Eli Shirazi is the Founder and Medical Director of Orthopedic Pain Management and Medical Director of Elite Ortho Surgical Institute. A board-certified physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, orthopedic medicine, and interventional pain management, Dr. Shirazi brings more than two decades of clinical experience and medical leadership to the organization. Following his medical education, Dr. Shirazi completed his residency training at UCLA, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident. Throughout his distinguished career, he has performed thousands of advanced procedures, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex musculoskeletal, spinal, joint, and nerve-related conditions. In 2003, Dr. Shirazi founded Orthopedic Pain Management with a vision to provide comprehensive, specialized care to patients suffering from orthopedic injuries and chronic pain. Under his medical leadership, the organization has evolved into a multidisciplinary practice serving patients across California and Arizona. Beyond traditional interventional pain management, Dr. Shirazi has developed extensive experience in regenerative medicine, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and cellular therapies. His professional background includes participation in clinical research, physician education, and international medical seminars. His expertise has attracted patients from across the United States and internationally, reflecting his longstanding commitment to advancing treatment options and improving patient outcomes. Karen Shirazi is the Chief Executive Officer of Orthopedic Pain Management and the Founder of Elite Ortho Surgical Institute. A Civil Engineer by profession, she led the design, construction, development, and establishment of Elite Ortho Surgical Institute alongside Dr. Pejman Eli Shirazi, and continues to oversee its operations. As CEO of Orthopedic Pain Management, Karen directs the organization’s executive leadership, business strategy, administration, operational performance, and expansion across California and Arizona. Under her leadership, the organization has experienced significant growth, expanded its medical office network, strengthened its operational infrastructure, and substantially increased its workforce. With a strong background in engineering, business development, and healthcare administration, Karen brings a results-driven approach to organizational management, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic growth.

Rebecca Zaghi, PA-C, is an experienced Physician Assistant with eight years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Orthopedic Surgery and surgical first assisting. For her undergraduate studies attended UCLA where she graduated from in 2016 with Latin honors and was on the deans list. She subsequently received her Masters in physician assistant studies with honors from SCUHS in 2018. Her education coupled with her diverse background allows for her strong clinical judgment.
